Revolution is a Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved prescription parasiticide that kills fleas, flea eggs, ear mites, scabies, and ticks, and helps prevent heartworm disease in dogs and cats. It also helps control roundworms and hookworms in cats. This once-a-month topical solution is applied to the skin at the base of the pet's neck. The non-greasy quick-drying medication is absorbed into the pet's bloodstream and tissue where it targets internal parasites. Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Flea and Tick Shampoo with Aloe and Lanolin controls fleas and ticks on contact. Gently cleanses and exfoliates skin and coat. Leaves the coat soft and lustrous. Use only on dogs and cats 12 weeks and older. When shampooing animal, avoid eyes. Use cloth or sponge to shampoo around pet's eyes. Wear rubber gloves (mitts) when applying this product. Thoroughly wet the entire hair-coat with warm water and then apply enough shampoo to make a lather and work thoroughly into the hair-coat. For maximum parasite control allow lather to remain in contact with skin for five to ten minutes before rinsing. Do not reapply product for 7 days.
