Revolution is a Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved prescription parasiticide that kills fleas, flea eggs, ear mites, scabies, and ticks, and helps prevent heartworm disease in dogs and cats. It also helps control roundworms and hookworms in cats. This once-a-month topical solution is applied to the skin at the base of the pet's neck. The non-greasy quick-drying medication is absorbed into the pet's bloodstream and tissue where it targets internal parasites. It then redistributes to the skin where it works against external parasites such as ear mites and fleas. Your veterinarian will determine the proper dosage of Revolution based on your pet's weight.
